English Language Support (ELS) provides one-on-one feedback on writing, reading, speaking and listening assignments of CapU students who are non-native speakers of English. Indigenous Student Services are available to all self-identifying Indigenous students. Students can access supports via the “Self-Identifying Indigenous Students” group on Microsoft Teams. Individuals can have private chats with our Student Success Specialists, review Indigenous-specific resources and reach out to fellow students or students within their programs. If you have materials checked out from spring term, you can return them to the drop box at the west entrance to the library or keep them until the campus reopens.

Student Rights and Responsibilities questions are answered by the Student Rights and Responsibilities Advisor 8:30 am - 4 pm, Monday to Friday. The Advisor is available to support you with information for a variety of needs.  If you have concerns about student conduct, a student in distress, academic misconduct, harassment, bullying or sexual violence, you can access confidential support, information and referrals. Writing Centre instructors are available Monday to Friday to provide feedback on students’ written assignments by email. Once a student has submitted an assignment for feedback, you can expect a reply within two business days. The Centre for Sports and Wellness is currently closed. However, our staff are supporting students and employees in staying active through the 2020 Recreation Movement that provides access to online workout classes from 100+ colleges and universities in the comfort of your own home.

Centre for Sport and Wellness: All active health programs, weight room, change rooms/showers and gymnasium is closed until further notice. We recognize the importance of health and wellness during this time and encourage our community members to be active outside until we can re-open our facilities and programs.
